Glocken — Wolle / Tal (Bells — Wool / Valley) is the title of Clara Bausch's re:enactment and interpretation of Margret Raspé's 1986 performance Glocken — Wolle. Through the plucking and cleaning of raw wool, together with the sound of bells worn on the hands, labor becomes perceptible as both a physical and an acoustic process. The performance refers to a story about a wanderer and a mountain, in which questions of perception, knowledge, and being unfold at the intersection of human, labor, and body.
