Yalda Afsah Curro Screening on the occasion of Berlin Art Week BAW Garden, Neue Nationalgalerie, Berlin, DE 13 September 2026, 8:30pm

Yalda Afsah's Curro (2023) will be on view in the garden of Neue Nationalgalerie alongside works by Lucy Beech and Didem Pekün as part of a screening event hosted by Between Bridges and Videoart at Midnight on the occasion of Berlin Art Week 2026.

Curro explores the ritualized taming of wild horses in the Galician tradition of “Rapas das Bestas,” raising questions about the social construction of masculinity, dependency, and alienation from nature that emerge through acts of “taming” in interspecies relationships.
